Privacy Policy
This describes what this website actually does, which turns out to be very little. We checked the built site rather than adapting a template, and where the answer is "we do not do that", this page says so instead of hedging.
The short version
If you fill in a form, we get what you typed and we email you back. If you just read the site, our hosting platform records the ordinary things a web server records. There are no advertising pixels on this site, nothing is sold or rented to anyone, the calculators run entirely inside your browser and send us nothing, and the fonts are served from our own domain rather than pulled from Google.
The rest of this page is the same statement in more detail. If any of it stops being true, this page gets changed before the change ships.
1. What you choose to send us
The quote form asks for your name, and optionally your company, email address, phone number, what stage your product is at, your rough monthly order volume, which service you are interested in, and a description of your product. Only the name and email are required. Everything you type goes to us, and nowhere else.
The review form collects the same kind of contact detail plus the review itself and whether you have given permission to publish it. Nothing is published without that permission and a confirmation from you first.
If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence so we can pick the conversation back up.
Please do not send confidential product specifications, drawings or supplier details through a web form before we have a signed non-disclosure agreement. Email and web forms are not a secure channel, and we would rather tell you that than take the risk on your behalf.
2. What is collected automatically
This site runs on Shopify, and Shopify records the ordinary things a web server records when a page is requested: an IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. Shopify also runs its own first-party store analytics, which gives us aggregate visitor counts and traffic sources. We use that to understand which reference pages are worth writing more of.
When you submit a form, Shopify may show a bot challenge before accepting it. That protection is Shopify's and may involve a third-party service; it exists to stop automated spam reaching the inbox, and it runs at the moment you submit rather than while you read.
3. What we do not collect
- No advertising or social pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, no LinkedIn or advertising tag on any page of this site.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not build an advertising profile of you and we do not participate in any network that does.
- No third-party fonts. Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so reading this page does not tell a font provider you were here.
- No browser storage. The site writes nothing to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB on any of its pages.
- Nothing is sold or rented. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone, under any circumstances.
4. The calculators and tools
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The chargeable weight calculator, the timeline planner, the supplier scorecard and the RFQ builder do not send what you type to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see the numbers you enter.
Where a tool offers a shareable link to your result, the figures are encoded in the link itself. That means the link contains your data, so treat it the way you would treat the underlying numbers and think before you post one publicly. If you use the button that carries a result into the quote form, you are choosing to send it to us at that moment, and not before.
5. Cookies
Shopify sets a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and cookies for its own first-party analytics. We do not currently set any advertising or retargeting cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The reference pages, the calculators and the contact form will all still work.
If we ever add analytics or advertising beyond what Shopify provides, this section gets rewritten and dated before that code goes live, and anything that legally requires your consent will ask for it.
6. Why we hold any of it
To answer your inquiry and quote your project. To provide the service once you become a client. To keep the records a business is required to keep. To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful. That is the complete list.
We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it. If we ever run a mailing list, joining it will be a deliberate act on your part and leaving will take one click.
7. Who else sees it
Shopify hosts this site and processes what you submit through it. Our email provider carries the messages. Those are service providers acting on our instructions, not partners we sell to.
Once you are a client, doing the actual work means your details reach the people doing it: the manufacturer you have chosen, the inspection firm, the licensed customs broker filing your entry, and the carriers moving your freight. We share what those parties need to do their job and no more.
We will disclose information where the law requires it. If we are ever compelled to hand over your data, we will tell you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
8. How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to two years, because buyers often come back a season later with the same project. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the period tax, customs and commercial law require, which for import records is generally five years.
You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner, and we will, except where we are legally required to retain a record.
9. Your rights over your data
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or another place with specific statutory rights, you have those rights and we will honor them.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for a "do not sell my information" request to switch off. You are welcome to make one anyway and we will confirm that in writing.
To exercise any of this, email bailey@sourcelaunchfulfill.com. A person reads it. We will not make you fill in a form to ask us about a form.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Shopify maintains the platform's security controls, and access to inquiries is limited to people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law allows, and we will tell you what actually happened rather than issue a statement.
11. Children
This is a business-to-business service and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
When this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes, particularly anything that adds a tracker or a new recipient of your data, will be described here plainly rather than buried in a wording tweak.
13. How to reach a person
Email bailey@sourcelaunchfulfill.com or call (631) 620-9196. Our Terms of Service cover the commercial side of working together.
